Doctrinal Statement

The Old and New Testaments, as originally written, are the inspired Word of God and are the supreme and all-sufficient authority in faith and life.

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Man was created in the image of God, but he sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical, but also spiritual death, which is eternal separation from God: and each human being is born with a sinful nature and cannot by his own efforts please God.

Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, was born of the Virgin Mary and is, therefore, true God and true man. As such He fully shared and fulfilled our humanity in a life of perfect and sinless obedience. He died in our place for our sins and all who believe in Him are justified before God and reconciled to God. His crucified body was resurrected, He ascended into heaven, and in His present life, is there as our Intercessor and Advocate.

All who by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Spirit and so become children of God, to live with Him through all eternity.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

God, by His Word and Spirit, creates unity among believers in Christ. This fellowship of believers is a holy and universal church, summoned by Christ to preach the Gospel.

God’s redemptive purpose will be consummated by the return of Christ to raise the dead, judge all men, and establish His glorious kingdom. Those who are apart from Christ shall be eternally separated from God’s presence, but the righteous shall live and reign with Him forever.
